Job summary

Infopact Inc. in the United States is seeking Transition Counselors to support transitioning Soldiers and eligible clients.

You will provide individualized counseling, lifecycle case management, and navigation to resources from initial counseling through Capstone validation. The role requires bachelor’s degree and at least two years of counseling or advising experience, with both in-person and virtual instruction capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and recommended relevant coursework.
• Minimum two years advising individuals on benefits, employment, education, or transition.
• Knowledge of counseling principles, case management, and transition challenges.
• Ability to facilitate groups and deliver in-person/virtual instruction.
• Strong documentation, time-management, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial counseling and assess readiness, assign tier per TAP requirements.
• Help clients develop and execute Individual Transition Plans aligned to goals.
• Deliver one-on-one counseling, group instruction, and workshops using approved materials.
• Maintain ongoing case engagement from enrollment through Capstone completion.
• Complete Career Readiness Standards and required documentation (e.g., DD Form 2648).
• Schedule, reschedule, identify barriers, and coordinate interventions.
• Document services, milestones, assessments, referrals, and handovers in the system.
• Coordinate handovers to VA, DOL, education providers, and partners as appropriate.
• Support client intake, classroom logistics, attendance, and records management.
• Participate in quality reviews, training, reporting, outreach, and surge coverage.
