Job summary

Hive Group, LLC is seeking a Technical Writer/Editor to support the Army CASCOM OCS program at Fort Lee, VA. The role requires an active SECRET clearance and a proven track record in military doctrine publication and TRADOC standards.

You will manage the full lifecycle of doctrinal documents, produce Change Resolution Matrices, and ensure compliance with strict two-day change windows while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance is required.
• 5+ years writing and editing military doctrine or technical publications.
• Experience with TR 25-30 and TR 25-36.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years using Microsoft Office, Office 365, and Adobe Pro.

Responsibilities

• Ensure publications follow TRADOC Regulation 25-30 procedures, timelines, and formatting.
• Review ~100 annual policy and doctrine documents for OCS content accuracy.
• Create and manage Change Resolution Matrices (CRMs) with tight two-day windows to COR.
• Submit CRMs to COR and comment matrices three days before deadlines.
• Draft and staff core OCS doctrinal documents and handbooks.
• Produce foundational directives and drafts (Initial, Final, Signature).
• Review ATP 4-10 and 4-10.1 on an 18-month cycle.
• Provide monthly operational estimates to the COR for CASCOM G-3.
