Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Outreach Assistant to support the Military OneSource program on an as-needed basis. The role requires US citizenship, base access, and proximity to installations within 40 miles, with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

The Outreach Assistant will staff events, educate service members and families about resources, and coordinate outreach with partners and government-approved programs. Prior outreach and customer-service experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
• Current military affiliation and installation access required.
• Minimum two years of experience in customer service, outreach, or related support.
• Demonstrated knowledge of military culture, military family lifestyles, and command structures.
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Military OneSource Program at installation and community outreach events, serving as an ambassador for program services and resources.
• Educate Service members, families, military leadership, and service providers on available resources.
• Educate and connect installation personnel with program resources and services.
• Document outreach efforts and report gaps to inform improvements.
• Maintain compliant program reporting and display promotional materials at events.
• Engage service members, families, and partners to increase awareness of Military OneSource offerings.
