Position Summary: The Strategy, Plans, Exercises, and Policy Support Services (MILDEC) position supports USCENTCOM in integrating and synchronizing DoD military activities with U.S. Government (USG) strategy. The role involves developing inputs for strategies, campaign plans, and operational concepts, translating strategic objectives into coordinated activities and operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with DoD components, USG agencies, allies, coalition members, and regional partners to ensure alignment with USCENTCOM’s theater-level campaign efforts and long-term planning initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Providing support in drafting, approval, and execution of current MILDEC plans and orders to enhance operational success, reduce U.S. casualties, and prevent loss of equipment.
• Offering subject matter expertise to USCENTCOM Component Commands for MILDEC planning, including plan coordination and de-confliction.
• Assessing MILDEC operations based on Measures of Performance (MOP) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOE).
• Supporting coordination with Counterintelligence assets.
• Synchronizing MILDEC operations with Computer Network Operations, Electronic Warfare, OPSEC, and military information support operations to support political and military objectives.

Required Education / Experience / Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance
• Graduate from the Defense MILDEC Training Course per CJCSI 3211.01
• Graduate of a Service or Joint MILDEC training course per USCENTCOM R-525-3
• Minimum of 5 years MILDEC planning experience
• At least 3 years of experience supporting a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command headquarters
• Effective communication skills in English, both oral and written

Physical Demands and Work Environment: The employee must talk, listen, write, and perform physical activities such as standing, walking, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Vision and hearing requirements are specified, and moderate noise levels are typical.
