Job summary

ICF, Inc. is seeking an early-mid to mid-career Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to promote uptake of evidence-based practices across the DoW Military Health System.

This is primarily a telework position with on-site work in the Washington DC Metro Area (Silver Spring, MD or Falls Church, VA possible). The candidate will translate, implement, and evaluate evidence-based psychological health practices, helping scale effective interventions to improve care quality across the MHS.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from APA/CPA-accredited program.
• 8+ years of post-doctoral experience in clinical psychology.
• 2+ years creating tools or trainings for evidence-based practices.
• 2+ years translating clinical research into healthcare delivery.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple timelines.
• Ability to collaborate with peers, managers and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and scan literature for mental health practices ready for translation.
• Support multi-site pilot studies on evidence-based practices in MHS.
• Document implementation variance and best practices across pilot sites.
• Create pilot-specific knowledge translation and implementation tools.
• Develop and execute pilot monitoring tools and data collection.
• Coordinate outreach to pilot sites to monitor progress and fidelity.
• Record facilitators and barriers and disseminate lessons learned.
• Prepare summative pilot reports and implementation guides.
• Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop clinical support materials and psychoeducation infographics.
• Provide logistics and meeting support for mental health groups.
• Incorporate client feedback to align with agency messaging.
