Job summary

Nisga’a CIOPS seeks a Medical Instructor/Training Developer to join the JSOMTC team in Fayetteville, NC, for an 18-month, full-time surge instructor position. You will deliver National Registry Emergency Technician Basic (B) and Paramedic (P) courses, CPR, and contribute to curriculum development to meet high educational standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with senior military officers and managing complex military programs.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
• Demonstrated creativity and latitude to plan and accomplish goals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based applications.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• US Citizenship and active Secret clearance; DMV check may be required.
• Current certifications: BLS-P, TCCC, ACLS-P, PEPP, AHA; ATP requirements.

Responsibilities

• The Medical Instructor/Training Developer will bear primary teaching responsibility for assigned classes using large group, small group, and hands-on training.
• Coordinate classes and prepare all facets of lesson plans with the Course Director per SWCS guidance and standards.
• Assemble and maintain all material pertaining to blocks of instruction including lesson plans and visitors folders.
