Job summary

Nisga’a CIOPS is seeking a Medical Instructor/Training Developer to join the JSOMTC team for an 18-month full-time surge assignment. You will deliver National Registry Emergency Technician Basic, Paramedic, and CPR courses, while contributing to curriculum development and POI updates in collaboration with subject matter experts.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, coordinating classes, and maintaining training materials, with emphasis on integrating documentation into the TDC

Qualifications

  • Experience with senior military officers and managing complex military programs.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
  • Creativity and latitude in planning and achieving goals.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills and use of routine office equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and time management.

Responsibilities

  • The Medical Instructor/Training Developer will be the primary instructor for assigned classes, using large-group, small-group, and hands-on training with SME collaboration.
  • Coordinate classes and prepare all facets of lesson plans with the Course Director per SWCS guidance, including practical exercises and learning activities.
  • Assemble and maintain all material for instructional blocks (lesson plans, visitors folders, etc.) and ensure alignment with standards.
