Job Overview

The Military Master Planner Program Manager leads the development of military installation planning documents and manages all aspects of program performance, serving as the primary liaison with the Government customer. Responsibilities include overseeing technical execution, cost management, contract deliverables, and personnel administration. The role requires expertise in DoD planning standards, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively.

Responsibilities
  1. Military Planner: Support the development of planning documents such as Vision Plans, Capacity Utilization Studies, Requirements Analyses, Area Development Plans, and Installation Planning Standards. Assist in data analysis, project meetings, site visits, stakeholder interviews, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure policy compliance. Prepare presentations and reports. Travel as needed.
  2. Program Manager: Manage the overall program, serve as the primary interface with the Government, oversee technical performance, costs, and personnel. Manage contract and subcontract tasks, facilitate communication between staff and management, and ensure timely submission of reports. Conduct hiring, conflict resolution, performance reviews, and manage personnel activities.
Compensation

Minimum: $105,000.00
Maximum: $125,000.00

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of Military Master Planning experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of intelligence collection systems.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Additional Details

Location: Remote
Physical requirements include sitting, standing, typing, reading from a screen, mobility, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Ability to walk or stand for more than 6 hours daily is optional.
