Job summary

AM General LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to support our government and commercial logistics operations in Indiana. You will process shippers, maintain files, and coordinate government and military paperwork with accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires SAP experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while communicating effectively with internal teams and external partners. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 1–2 years shipping experience.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office required.
• Must be highly accurate and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Process Humvee shippers and maintain files
• Process Military shippers and maintain files
• Analyze contracts for DD250 processing for Government shipments
• Prepare Government Bill of Ladings and various other Military forms as necessary
• Prepare commercial and international shipping documents as required
• Reconcile orders for accuracy
• Work with government representatives
• Goods issue shipments
• Interface with various departments
• Coordinate pickup and deliveries when necessary
• Document distribution
