Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring cooks for Fort Drum, NY. The role offers a base pay of $22.00 per hour plus a separate $5.09 per hour SCA Health & Welfare for eligible hours, with a 40-hour weekly maximum.

Responsibilities include preparing high-quality meals, serving or delivering with proper portions, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen in compliance with federal, state and corporate standards. Strong cooking experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at correct temperature and appealing.
• Maintains clean kitchen after preparation and serving, stores or discards excess food per safe handling procedures.
• Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Follows HACCP standards and maintains safe work environment.
• Attends in-service and safety meetings.
