Job summary

Eurest at Fort Bragg is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions. The site operates seven days a week with 5:00 am to 9:00 pm shifts. One year of professional cooking experience is preferred, and online applications are accepted.

Benefits include paid holidays, sick leave and two weeks of PTO after one year of service. Compensation includes a fixed pay rate of $22.00 per hour plus a separate $5.09/hour SCA Health & Welfare for eligible hours, up to 40 hours per week.

• One year of professional cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. Ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
