Job summary

Eurest, part of Compass Group, is hiring for a full- and part-time COOK at 42 Bistro, 185 Pyongyang Drive, Building 34002, Fort Hood, TX 76544. You will prepare food to federal, state and corporate standards, ensure portions and temperatures, and support timely service.

Experience preferred. U.S. citizenship required per federal facility rules. We offer competitive pay of $20.50 per hour and comprehensive benefits for eligible associates.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring temperature and presentation standards.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintains high standards of cleanliness.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
