Job summary
U.S. Army 6th Medical Recruiting Battalion is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to diagnose and treat diseases, supervise direct patient care, and lead medical units.
The role includes participation in disease prevention programs and medical education, with opportunities for leadership training and humanitarian missions. Qualifications
- Doctor of medicine or doctor of osteopathy from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy.
- Current license to practice medicine in the United States, DC or Puerto Rico.
- Eligibility for board certification.
- Completion of at least one year of an approved graduate medical education internship.
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (waivers on case-by-case basis).
- U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat localized ailments and diseases.
- Conduct and supervise direct patient care and health programs.
- Lead medical units and participate in medical education and training.
