Job description

To be eligible to enlist in the U.S. Navy, candidates must be between the ages of 18-34.

These careers offer expertise in all facets of Information Operations, ensuring our fleet capitalizes on the information vulnerabilities of adversaries. Candidates should preferably have a degree in fields such as international relations, political science, government, engineering, physical science, natural science, computer science, or related academic disciplines.

INTELLIGENCE AND INFORMATION SECURITY CAREERS IN THE NAVY

1. INTELLIGENCE OFFICER: Analyze top-secret information, interpret spy reports, and oversee the analysis of satellite imagery. Use keen analytical skills to detect patterns in internet chatter and assess intelligence implications.
2. CRYPTOLOGIC WARFARE OFFICER: Specialize in codebreaking, create warfighting options for Fleet Commanders, advise decision-makers, and operate within cyberspace to achieve military objectives.
3. CYBER WARFARE ENGINEER: Develop and evaluate software and firmware for Cyberspace Operations, applying principles of computer science and engineering to defend vital networks.
