Navy Region Hawaii Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a Personal Financial Management Program specialist to serve as the primary resource for financial education and counseling at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam FFSC. The role involves delivering tailored financial literacy training to military members and families.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of specialized experience in providing personal financial management services.
• Broad knowledge of financial concepts: budgeting, credit, savings, taxes, and retirement.
• Experience delivering training to individuals and groups on mandatory financial topics.
• Ability to conduct counseling with privacy and confidentiality.
• Proficient with computer-based training platforms and common software.
• Ability to develop and present financial education to large groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary resource for financial education and counseling; tailor content to local area.
• Use CNIC-approved curricula to conduct training and provide nonbiased counseling.
• Conduct CFS training; organize area-wide financial awareness forums.
• Coordinate with Navy and external agencies for referrals and resources.
• Maintain records in FFSMIS; update training evaluations.
• Review SOPs and disseminate financial information via newsletters and email.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
