Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), 3+ years of financial counseling experience, and certifications AFC, CFP, or ChFC. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizen and fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
• One of AFC, CFP, or ChFC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families.
• Assists in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develops informational financial materials for service members and families.
• Coordinates and presents Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Uses virtual counseling methods when appropriate; adheres to DoD protocols.
