Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor for Fort Sill, OK to deliver comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families on military installations. Responsibilities include one-on-one counseling, group briefings, and developing educational materials; the role requires 3+ years of financial counseling, a bachelor’s or equivalent experience, and U.S.

citizenship with English fluency (Spanish bilingual preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; alternatives with additional experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluency in English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
• Certification: AFC, CFP, or ChFC is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and their families on military installations.
• Develop and deliver financial management workshops and informational materials.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling and group briefings; refer participants to outside resources as needed.
• Coordinate with Military Points of Contact to ensure program scope and needs are met.
