Job summary

Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor at Camp Atterbury, IN to deliver comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families on base. You will educate, counsel, and refer participants, covering budgeting, debt, and financial planning within DoD guidelines.

You may conduct group workshops, participate in briefings, and use virtual counseling channels when required by the contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; may accept equivalent combo of education and work experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English are required; bilingual English/Spanish may be required by contract.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and their families at assigned military installations.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling, briefings, and referrals to external resources as needed.
• Develop and deliver financial management classes/workshops for various military lifecycle events.
• Utilize virtual counseling and secure communications as required by the program.
• Coordinate with DoD and installation Points of Contact to ensure program scope and needs are met.
