Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Associate degree +4 years may substitute for bachelor's.
• High school diploma +6 years may substitute for bachelor's.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish if contract requires.
• Able to obtain a Tier 2 background investigation.
• Must pass the OCI disclosures process.
• Certifications AFC, CFP, or ChFC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and families.
• Conduct one-on-one counseling, briefings, and referrals.
• Coordinate with POCs to ensure program scope meets installation needs.
• Develop and deliver financial education materials and classes.
• Offer virtual counseling modes (web chat, video) as permitted.
• Manage duty-to-warn procedures per DoD protocol.
• Participate in supervision and contract activities as assigned.
• All other duties as assigned.
