Sierra Nevada Corporation is looking for a Project Coordinator as part of its Military Fellowship Program. This role is dedicated to service members transitioning to civilian work, providing them comprehensive project management training.
Responsibilities include coordinating tasks and stakeholders while maintaining project documentation. Applicants must be active duty military and possess a high school diploma. The position offers an estimated salary range of $30.35 - $41.73 per hour along with a generous benefits package.
SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on‑job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full‑time civilian work. NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.
As a Project Coordinator, you should have intermediate time management and communication skills as you will collaborate with vendors, suppliers, other stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Your main responsibilities will be to coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information, break projects into actionable tasks and set timeframes, liaise with stakeholders to facilitate project execution and assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management. You’ll also ensure that clients’ needs are met as projects evolve, help prepare budgets, analyze risks and opportunities, monitor project progress and address issues that arise via proper communication and escalation. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders, work with the Program Manager to remove road blocks, use tools to monitor and control performance, plans and expenditures and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and status reports.
Estimated Starting Salary Range: $30.35 - $41.73 per hour (disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for geographic differential).
