Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) invites applications for a Community Resource Coordinator to support resilience and readiness of service members and families. The role focuses on integrating community resources, building peer networks, and coordinating data collection and program evaluation across multiple commands and locations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or four years of related experience, DoW/DoD resource knowledge, and the ability to obtain a secret/top-secret

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services or related field or four (4) years’ experience, to include experience as a volunteer, in providing social service education, or work/family life consultation or coordination services.
• Specialized training on peer support counseling, community resources and referrals and suicide prevention.
• Knowledge of best practices in peer support counseling and suicide prevention; stay updated on DoW, Services and community resources.

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee peer support networks for assigned commands.
• Recruit active duty and family member peer support counselors, ensure vetted and trained according to USSOCOM CRC standards.
• Collect and report data for formative and outcome evaluations of peer support programs and other community-based programs.
• Develop needs-based programming to service specific demographic groups and geographic locations.
• Lead and/or assist in coordination and development of CRC processes, functions and networking opportunities.
