Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Community Resource Coordinator to support the resilience and wellbeing of service members and families. You will build and sustain peer support networks, coordinate community resources, and collaborate with leadership and multidisciplinary teams across CONUS/OCONUS sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, human/social services or related field or four years’ experience in providing social service education or coordination.
• Specialized training on peer support counseling, resources and suicide prevention is preferred.
• Knowledge of DoW resources and DoW/USSOCOM/community support resources.

Responsibilities

• Organize and oversee peer support networks for assigned commands.
• Recruit active duty and family peer support counselors trained to USSOCOM CRC standards.
• Collect and report data for evaluations of peer support programs and community-based services.
• Develop needs-based programming for specific demographics and locations.
• Coordinate CRC processes, networking opportunities, and liaison with commands.
