Qualifications

• IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: submit transcripts with the application; official transcripts are not required at time of application, but if degree is required transcripts must be verified prior to appointment.
• Foreign Education: education from foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet requirements; show proof credentials are at least equivalent to U.S. education.
• Department of Education must accredit education.

Responsibilities

• Counsels/advises military personnel, dependents, and eligible civilians on testing programs and how they apply to career development and degree programs.
• Serve as subject matter expert on all administered testing programs, degree and career applicability, and provide advisement to base leadership.
• Manages installation-level testing program for military tests (e.g., WAPS, DLPT, ASVAB) and academic tests (DANTES, DL college courses).
• Administers/Oversees tests as authorized by DANTES, A4/6, colleges, and local instructions, including DANTES exams, ACT/SAT, CLEP, DSST, etc.; professional certifications and career assessments.
