Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a mental health field.
• Current unrestricted counseling license from a U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum two years of post-licensure clinical experience.
• Ability to navigate technology and software (MS Office, internet, mobile apps, video conferencing).
• Must be able to engage with military members and families and respond to emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical, short-term counseling to eligible children and youth of service members.
• Provide parent training and guidance to staff and personnel.
• Deliver health and wellness presentations and participate in base activities.
• Enter counselor activity data daily while maintaining confidentiality.
• Establish linkages with community resources and assure appropriate referrals.
