Job summary

Magellan Health, Inc. seeks a Military & Family Life Counselor - Child Development Center to deliver non-medical, short-term counseling to service members' children and youth at MCAS Beaufort and related facilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Graduate Program in a Mental Health related field.
• Requires current unrestricted independent counseling license as an independent practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Provides non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling to eligible children and youth.
• Delivers training and health and wellness presentations to staff and families.
• Maintains confidential counseling records and documents activity daily.
• Partners with military installation staff and POC to ensure services are within scope and meet needs.
