FHE Health in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a Milieu Therapist – Behavioral Health to join our multidisciplinary team and provide structured, compassionate care for individuals with behavioral health disorders.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling, active Florida LCSW or LMHC license, CPR and CPI certifications, and experience in addiction or mental health treatment. Experience in crisis intervention is preferred.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral health field.
• Florida LCSW or LMHC license active.
• Experience in substance abuse or mental health treatment setting preferred.
• CPR Certification (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.

Responsabilidades

• Facilitate Group Therapy Sessions.
• Ensure milieu is structured, supportive and conducive to recovery.
• Implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
• Assist in de-escalating crises using trauma-informed care techniques.
• Document session notes, treatment plans, and progress reports per policy.
• Participate in daily interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.
• Support medication and safety compliance; provide patient and family education.
