Job summary

Seneca Family of Agencies seeks a Milieu Supervisor for Bridges Services to lead a team of school-based counselors in Alameda County. You will coach staff, provide crisis support, and ensure interventions align with students' IEPs, creating a safe, therapeutic learning environment for high-need youth.

The role blends leadership, behavior intervention, and relationship-building to help students thrive academically and emotionally. A CA driver’s license and vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR associate degree with relevant experience.
• High school diploma with two years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of one year in a special education or related setting.
• Own vehicle and CA driver's license with insurability.
• Supervision/training/mentoring experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• TB test clearance and fingerprinting clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of School-Based Counselors to deliver integrated support.
• Build therapeutic relationships to help students achieve goals.
• Support academic instruction with individual and group activities.
• Implement classroom modifications based on IEPs.
• Deliver behavioral intervention to promote positive learning behaviors.
• Maintain a safe environment by supervising students at all times.
• Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques.
• Communicate with families and other Seneca programs or outside agencies.
• Complete data collection and service documentation to measure effectiveness.
