Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field is required.
• Five+ years in a behavioral health setting.
• Supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the units to ensure clinical aspects meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure safe, effective milieu management with adequate staff coverage and policy development.
• Plan unit schedules and maintain a safe, positive environment while ensuring staff ratios.
• Provide training and orientation for new staff and ongoing coaching.
• Oversee staff recruitment, selection, and promotion for milieu staff.
• Direct Milieu Coordinator scheduling per regulation and safety needs.
• Oversee admissions and discharges processes as applicable.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure 100% documentation compliance.
• Supervise residents in crisis, intervention, and de-escalation with post-incident debriefs.
• Assist with patient care and unit coverage to maintain ratios when needed.
• Demonstrate empathy and professionalism; address patient safety and complaints.
