Qualifications

• Must have 30+ college credits or ParaPathways exam in lieu.
• Indiana substitute permit or valid Indiana license required.
• Ability to read/write detailed notes about the day.
• Must speak and understand English when leading a class.
• Background check completed by a third party.

Responsibilities

• Report to the building sub coordinator upon arrival; arrive 30 minutes before students.
• Review plans/schedules with the coordinator for the day.
• Maintain routines and procedures of the classroom as much as possible.
• Take and report attendance as directed via paper or Skyward.
• Teach the assigned lesson and leave detailed notes about the day.
• Ensure student safety and proper dismissal procedures.
• Follow policies and maintain confidentiality throughout the day.
