Job summary

San Juan Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant I/II for Del Campo High School. The position is part-time with a 6-hour workday, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, serving in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs as needed.

Candidates should be prepared to support teachers, run small groups, and assist in large groups in both Special Day Class settings and General Education environments.

Qualifications

• Experience and training providing knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties.
• Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups in both Special Day Class settings or General Education; support the teacher's needs.
• Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
