Job summary

The City of New Braunfels is seeking a Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) Paramedic to coordinate patient care, perform visits, and manage referrals within the MIH program. You will work to reduce non-emergency 9-1-1 calls and improve quality of life for vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities include triage of referrals, care coordination with healthcare partners, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards in a dynamic Fire Department environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred or equivalent.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License required.
• EMT-Paramedic or Licensed Paramedic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care coordination and case management within the MIH program.
• Perform in-person patient visits with assessments, care plans, and referrals.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, and social services.
