Job summary

Advocate Health’s Mobile Integrated Health team seeks an MIH-EMT Runner to support operations across multiple locations. You will transport patients, resupply bases, and coordinate with field paramedics to ensure timely delivery of medications, meals, and specimens to the hospital.

The role requires frequent driving, multi-location coordination, and a self-directed, organized approach to manage shifting priorities. A valid EMT certification and driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current applicable EMT certification required.
• SC EMT-B and National Registry EMT preferred at hire; ... required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Transporting patients to homes or healthcare facilities.
• Resupplying MIH bases and rendezvousing with field paramedics to transport items to the hospital.
• Coordinate with AirCare logistics to support fleet readiness.
