Job summary

Summa Health seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group at Akron, Ohio. The surgeon should have a strong interest in pelvic medicine, with focus on pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease, colposcopy, and MIS techniques.

The successful candidate will join Summa Health Medical Group, a large, multi-specialty practice with a history of comprehensive women’s health services, rotating call coverage and access to Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology is required.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery fellowship is required.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain one.
• Active involvement in education of medical students, residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS surgical care within an employed physician group.
• Engage in patient-centered, evidence-based pelvic health care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the Summa Health system.
• Support academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University as appropriate.
