Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join our employed physician group. The surgeon will focus on MIGS and pelvic medicine, with involvement in education and an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, as appropriate.

The practice includes 24/7 anesthesia, radiology and women's sub-specialty coverage, with opportunities across Medina, Wadsworth and Barberton. Flexible FTE (0.80–1.0) and relocation/education support are available.

Qualifications

• Board-certified OB/GYN.
• Completion of MIGS fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio medical license or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in education of students and residents.
• Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS care within Summa Health Medical Group.
• Engage in pelvic medicine and related conditions (pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, vulvar disease).
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams for patient-centered care.
• Possibly engage in teaching and academic appointment commensurate with experience.
