Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to join our employed physician group. The candidate should have an MIGS fellowship and an interest in pelvic medicine, with a focus on pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, and vulvar disease.

Obstetrics is not included. The position offers an academic appointment at Northeast Ohio Medical University, competitive compensation, relocation and signing bonus, CME allowance, and 0.8–1.0 FTE in a large, stable

Qualifications

• Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship.
• Unrestricted Ohio Licensure or willingness to obtain.
• Active involvement in medical student, resident, and fellow education.
• Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide MIGS and pelvic medicine care, including pelvic pain, fibroids, endometriosis, and vulvar disease.
• Participate in education of medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Collaborate with a large multi-specialty group with 24/7 anesthesia, radiology, and subspecialty coverage.
• Work across multiple surgical sites within Summa Health system.
