Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Dallas, Texas seeks a Migration Engineer to orchestrate enterprise file-share migrations using ShareGate Migrate Pro and Microsoft Migration Manager. You will analyze source shares, permissions, and path constraints, ensuring metadata fidelity and post-migration reconciliation.

Responsibilities include configuring and executing migration jobs, deploying agents, and resolving timeouts, errors, and skipped items with PowerShell automation.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience executing enterprise file-share migrations using ShareGate Migrate Pro and Microsoft Migration Manager.
Strong Windows file server, SMB, NTFS ACL, migration-agent and PowerShell skills.
Experience with pre-scan remediation, incremental passes and migration reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Configure and execute migration jobs using approved mapping and wave plans.
Deploy and maintain migration agents and execute incremental and delta passes.
Analyze source shares, permissions, unsupported files, illegal characters and long paths.
Troubleshoot timeouts, failed and skipped items and document remediation.
Produce job logs, migration evidence and reconciliation results.
