Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups, reinforce instruction and track progress.
• Participate as part of an instructional team including remediation efforts.
• Prepare and organize lessons; administer and score tests per guidelines.
• Assist in determining English proficiency of identified students.
• Monitor behavior and report student progress to teachers.
• Perform routine clerical duties and maintain classroom records.
• Support teachers by setting up work areas and operating AV equipment.
• Oversee students in labs; manage supplies and inventories.
• Communicate with parents and assist with home visits as needed.
• Confer with teachers to adapt programs and materials to student needs.
