Job summary

The Antelope Valley Migrant Education Program Consortium seeks a part-time Migrant Education - Transitional Kindergarten School Readiness teacher who will deliver rigorous supplemental instruction to Migrant-eligible students.

Experience and Qualifications include a minimum of three years of teaching, use of data to inform instruction, and a culturally responsive approach. Work Saturdays, 5 hours each day, Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience.
• Experience in research-based instructional practices that will efficiently support learning.
• Deep knowledge of reading, writing, literacy and/or mathematics.
• Experience using data to inform instruction.
• Culturally responsive practitioner committed to eliminating opportunity disparities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous supplemental instruction to Migrant-eligible students.
• Support school readiness in Transitional Kindergarten through targeted instructional strategies.
