Accounting Search is seeking a Fabrication Welder for the 1st shift in Greater Milwaukee, WI. The role involves MIG welding, reading engineering drawings, and using an overhead crane and forklift to move fabricated parts.

Expect a clean, stable shop environment with ASME welding standards guiding daily work. You should have 1+ year MIG welding experience with carbon steel, crane/forklift experience, and a reliable work history.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience (carbon steel welding preferred).
• 1+ year of crane and forklift operation experience.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Solid, stable work history.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder residing within 45 minutes of Greater Milwaukee.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, and MIG weld a variety of fabricated products to specification.
• Read and work from engineering drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Produce welds that meet ASME welding standards.
• Operate overhead crane and forklift for material handling and movement.
