Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Fabrication Welder for the Greater Milwaukee, WI area on the 1st shift. You will lay out, assemble, and MIG weld a variety of fabricated products to specification while reading engineering drawings to ensure accuracy.

You will operate an overhead crane and forklift to move materials throughout a clean, modern facility. The role requires 1+ year MIG welding experience with carbon steel and crane/forklift operation, a stable work history, and eligibility to

Qualifications

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience; carbon steel welding experience required.
• 1+ year of crane and forklift operation experience.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Solid, stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Laying out, assembling, and MIG welding a variety of fabricated products to specification.
• Reading and working from engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Producing welds that meet ASME welding standards.
• Operating overhead crane and forklift for material handling and product movement throughout the facility.
