Job summary

United Future in Greater Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Fabrication Welder (1st Shift) to lay out, weld, and assemble varied fabrications. You will read engineering drawings and ensure welds meet ASME standards while operating an overhead crane and forklift.

This full-time role offers a stable, growth-oriented environment in a clean, modern facility. The position requires 1+ year MIG welding experience with carbon steel, crane and forklift experience, and residency within 45 minutes of Milwaukee.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of MIG welding experience
• 1+ year of crane and forklift operation experience
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Solid, stable work history
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder residing within 45 minutes of the Greater Milwaukee area

Responsibilities

• Laying out, assembling, and MIG welding a variety of fabricated products to specification
• Reading and working from engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication
• Producing welds that meet ASME welding standards
• Operating overhead crane and forklift for material handling and product movement throughout the facility
