Job summary

Talnt in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Fabricator/Welder to perform fitting, welding, cutting and fabrication in an industrial setting. You will read fabrication drawings, prepare materials, assemble components, and produce welded structures that meet dimensional and quality requirements.

The role requires experience with MIG or other processes, ability to read weld symbols, and the stamina to perform physically demanding fabrication work.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG, FCAW, SMAW or similar welding processes.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
• Ability to use grinders, torches, saws, plasma cutters, measuring tools and fabrication equipment.

Responsibilities

• Fit, fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components per drawings and production requirements.
• Read drawings, prepare materials, and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Operate welding equipment and maintain weld quality and penetration.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for conformance to specs.
• Follow welding safety procedures and PPE requirements.
