Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Welder to work in a fast-growing manufacturing environment in Chickasha, OK. You will focus on MIG welding of steel building materials, interpreting blueprints and ensuring parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities include cutting, fitting, and assembling components, applying spray arc welding when needed, and safe operation of MIG and TIG equipment. Overtime and Saturday work may be required in a busy production setting.

Qualifications

• MIG welding on steel materials per blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for fabrication and welding.
• Experience with steel fabrication: cutting, fitting, assembling.
• Knowledge of spray arc welding techniques.
• Commitment to safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Owner of a welding hood.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel building materials to blueprint specs.
• Interpret blueprints to ensure correct welds and dimensions.
• Cut, fit, and assemble components prior to welding.
• Apply spray arc welding when required for strong welds.
• Operate MIG and TIG equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welds and finished parts for quality and structural integrity.
• Maintain welding equipment and protective gear.
• Follow safety procedures and work with the team to meet production goals.
• Occasional Saturday shifts to support production demands.
