U-Haul is seeking a Welder at our Fairless Hills, PA facility. The role covers MIG welding of steel and aluminum (1/16"–1" thick) per blueprints and work orders, including clamping parts into fixtures and ensuring clean, quality welds.

You will follow safety practices, read orders, and maintain tools and PPE. Regular attendance and a welding test are required to qualify for this position. U-Haul offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must pass plant-administered welding test.
• Regular attendance is essential.

Responsabilités

• Performs all-position MIG welding to join steel and aluminum from 1/16" to 1" thick.
• Interprets and carries out work orders, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
• Clamp parts into jigs or holding fixtures.
• Cleans burrs, spatter and weld flux from assemblies.
• Hand-count material for inventory purposes.
• Wears and maintains protective clothing and equipment including welding helmet, gloves, and safety shoes.
