Qualifications

• MIG welding experience and ability to weld steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches and work orders.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Performs all-position MIG welding to join steel and aluminum from 1/16" to 1" thick plates.
• Interprets and carries out work orders, blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions.
• clamps parts into jigs or holding fixtures.
• Cleans burrs, spatter and weld flux from assemblies.
• Hand-count material for inventory purposes.
• Follows all safety practices and maintains a clean, orderly work area.
