Qualifications

• Hands-on MIG welding experience.
• Ability to set up and adjust MIG welder.
• Understanding of wire speed, voltage, positioning, and weld quality.
• Ability to recognize defects like porosity and undercut.
• Reliable attendance for second shift.
• Must pass a hands-on MIG weld test.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on metal components.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment for assigned work.
• Fit, align, and position parts before welding.
• Follow welding specifications and work instructions.
• Produce clean, consistent welds throughout the shift.
• Inspect completed welds and identify defects.
• Complete basic grinding or weld cleanup as required.
• Maintain production pace without sacrificing weld quality.
• Communicate equipment, material, or quality concerns.
