Job summary

Martin Sprocket & Gear, Inc. in Texas is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will perform MIG welding, inspect welds, and follow blueprints to ensure precision in mechanical power transmission components.

This role requires the ability to read English instructions, safely handle heavy parts, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace on 1st shift, Monday through Friday. You will collaborate across departments and support as needed to uphold quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting required.
• Flux core welding experience is a plus.
• Good reading and basic written English for logs/reports.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld parts to specification following process sheets/blueprints.
• Follow production tasks from supervisor with accuracy.
• Move and handle large parts, with crane assistance as needed.
• Inspect welds and finish with grinding as required.
• Maintain machines/workspace and follow safety protocols.
• Perform quality checks to ensure tolerances are met.
• Provide cross-functional support as needed.
