Job summary

Our client in Carnegie, PA is seeking a Welder to join the Fabrication Department. The role involves MIG welding on pipe and platework, reading blueprints and welding symbols, preparing and assembling components, and inspecting welds for quality and compliance.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 3:30pm, at a pay rate of $25/hour, with a comprehensive benefits package, paid vacation after 90 days, and 401(k) eligibility after one year.

Qualifications

• Experience MIG welding on pipe and platework.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding (hardwire and flux core) on pipe and platework according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to complete projects accurately.
• Prepare, fit, and assemble metal components prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
