Structural Rubber Products, established in 1964, is a family-owned civil engineering/manufacturing facility specializing in multi-state DOT and private bridge components. We are seeking a full-time Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team.

The applicant should read shop drawings, be familiar with common shop tools and power tools, accurately read a tape measure, communicate professionally, manage time effectively, work with others, and value attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting shop drawings.
• Familiarity with common shop tools and power tools.
• Accurate tape measure reading.
• Professional communication and time management.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Use MIG welder to produce high-quality welds with good penetration.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
• Maintain a strict quality control program with proper documentation.
• Safe forklift operation and material handling.
• Use horizontal & vertical bandsaws, hydraulic punch press, drill press and other industrial equipment.
• General labor and welding preparation; occasionally lift 50+ lbs.
