Millerbernd Manufacturing Company in Winsted, MN is seeking a Welder II for full-time production work. The role focuses on MIG welding, layout, tacking and fabrication in line with product specifications.

You will read blueprints, set up equipment, and ensure welds pass visual inspections. The position requires experience with GMAW welding on carbon steel, ability to operate hoists and cranes, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of metal fabrication/welding experience and successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and weld symbols.
• Experience operating hoists, cranes and other powered industrial vehicles; skilled with measuring tools.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MIG welds (GMAW) including butt, V-bevel and fillet welds on carbon steel.
• Produce welds that pass visual inspection and adhere to WPS.
• Read MMC WPS and select appropriate wire, shielding gas and weld parameters.
• Layout, tack and assemble components to specification.
• Use grinders to finish parts and maintain finish quality as required.
• Operate a variety of fabrication machines to build and assemble products.
• Record job data in production tracking system and ensure proper labeling for routing.
